Right of withdrawal for consumers

English translation of the german right of withdrawal. Only the version in the german language is authoritative.

(A consumer is any individual that concludes a contract for a cause that, for the most part, cannot be attributed to their commercial or self-employed activity.)

The legal basis for private purchases is the German Civil Code (BGB), for business purchases the German Commercial Code (HGB) and the BGB.

Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days, without the necessity to state a reason.

The time for withdrawal is 14 days, beginning from the day that you, or a third party named by you that is not the carrier, have taken ownership of the product, if you have ordered one or several products within a single order that is delivered in a single shipment, or from the day that you or a third party named by you that is not the carrier have taken ownership of the last product, if you have ordered several products in a single order that is delivered in separate shipments.

To make use of your right of withdrawal, you have to inform us about your decision to withdraw from this contract, by means of a unambiguous declaration (e.g. by letter delivered by mail, by fax or by e-mail). You can use the included standard withdrawal form, however, this is not mandated. In order to observe the time for withdrawal, it is sufficient that you send your declaration about your decision to make use of your right of withdrawal within the time of withdrawal. Consequences of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we are obliged to refund all payments that we have received from you, including the costs of delivery (excluding any additional costs that resulted from you choosing a delivery method other than the most low priced standard method of delivery offered by us), without delay and no later than fourteen days, beginning from the day that your declaration of withdrawal has been received by us. For the refund, we use the same method of payment used by you in the initial transaction, unless anything else has explicitly been agreed upon with you; in no case shall we charge any fees for this refund.

We reserve the right to refuse the refund until we have received the product or products back, or you have provided proof that you have sent back the product or products, depending on whichever is the earliest point. We can also refuse the repayment if you have already taken advantage of our services (courses or membership offers).

You are to send or hand over the product or products back to us without delay, and in any case no later that fourteen days, beginning from the day that you have informed us about your decision to withdraw from this contract. The time for withdrawal is observed, if you dispatch the product or products within fourteen days. You bear the immediate costs of the reconsignment. You only have to compensate us for a possible loss of value, if this loss of value can be attributed to a manipulation of the product or products that is unnecessary for examination of quality, properties and function of the product or products.
